Stephen Brophy
Board Member
Stephen Brophy was appointed interim Board Member on 9th January 2023 for a one year term, an extension has been granted to 11th July 2024.
He was previously a senior official in the Department of Health from 2018 and has worked at a high level across multiple Government departments. He has many years’ experience working with state agencies on finance and governance issues.
Stephen Holds a BA and an MA (Politics) from UCD, as well as professional qualifications in Public Expenditure Management and a Masters in Economic Science from the Institute of Public Administration where he has also delivered training and studied Governance to Master's level.
