The continued extraction of an existing rock quarry (currently permitted under Ref. No. PL17.QD0013). The development will also consist of: (i) the provision of a private link road to serve the quarry and adjoining agricultural land linking the L56172 Mullagh Road with the L1615 in the north east; (ii) the relocation of the quarry access/egress point on the L56172 Mullagh Road southwards to create an access/egress point on the L56172 Mullagh Road; (iii) two access/egress points for the private link road; (iv) accesses and egress points from the link road to agricultural land for agricultural purposes; (v) associated gates, piers and boundary fencing; (vi) hard and soft landscaping, barrier systems and cut and fill areas associated with the road; (vii) the continued use of the existing on-site office, shed and car park area.
