The Silvermines Hydroelectric Energy Storage Project, listed as project 1.13 on the Union List of Projects of Common Interest and Projects of Mutual Interest has been acknowledged on the 27th February 2025 by An Bord Pleanála, acting in its capacity as National Competent Authority, as mature enough to enter the permit granting process under Regulation (EU) 2022/869.
