Patricia Calleary
Board Member
Patricia Calleary, BE MEngSc Msc (planning) Dip EIA Mgmt. FIEI MIPI, was appointed ordinary Board Member from 21st March 2022 for a 5 year term until 21st March 2027.
She holds a primary and postgraduate degrees in civil engineering (NUIG), spatial planning (TUD), and also holds postgraduate diplomas in EIA management, public management and in planning and environmental law. She is a chartered engineer and fellow of Engineers Ireland and is also a member of the IPI, having served on the IPI National Council for a three-year term.
Prior to her appointment to the Board, Patricia worked as a senior planning inspector at An Bord Pleanála from 2016- 2022, and previously worked in a number of roles in Dublin City Council, Irish Water and Bord na Móna. For a large part of her career, she ran a planning and engineering consultancy practice in Ballina, County Mayo and has held various part-time lecturing roles.
