Joe Boland
Board Member
Joe Boland was appointed interim Board Member on 25th April 2023 for a one-year term .
He is a career local government official with over 40 years experience, having served in a number of local authorities at senior level including periods as Director of Planning in Louth County Council as well as Director of Transport and Water Services in Kildare County Council.
He holds Masters Degrees in both local government management from the Institute of Public Administration as well as spatial planning [ Technical University Dublin ] and is a corporate member of the Irish Planning Institute . He has also completed the Leader Challenge course at Harvard .
In more recent times , he was responsible for the Eastern and Midlands Climate Action Regional Office .
