Mary Cregg was appointed interim Board Member on the 24th April 2023 for a one-year term.
Mary has 15 years’ senior management experience as Principal Officer in the Civil Service, including 8 years in the School Planning and Building unit of the Department of Education where she had responsibility for oversight of planning and delivery of major capital projects.
Prior to appointment in An Bord Pleanála, she was Principal Officer of the Social Inclusion unit of the Department of Education.
She has a MSc in Innovation Management in the Public Service, and a PhD in Optometry. Prior to joining the Civil Service in 2008, Mary had gained a wide range of experience in healthcare and higher education settings.
