Requirements for Prospective Applicants
The SHD process comprises three mandatory stages:

Stage 1 |
Consultation with the Planning Authority (under section 247 of the Planning & Development Act, 2000, as amended). |

Stage 2 |
Pre-Application Consultation with An Bord Pleanála (under section 6 of the Planning & Development (Housing) and Residential Tenancies Act, 2016). |

Stage 3 |
Planning Application to be submitted directly to An Bord Pleanála. |
