The proposed development of a new 110 kV Substation to facilitate the proposed Milane Hill Green Energy Project (which will be subject of a separate application). The substation will operate as a loop in grid connection to the existing Dunmanway to Ballylickey 110kV overhead transmission line that runs the southeast of the site, thereby enabling efficient integration of the repowered wind farm into the national grid.
